Thanks to #EstoNOtienequePARAR Movement, created by the Mercadona environment during the crisis confinement, we joint more than 3,000 companies with the same purpose: that the wheel of the economy don’t stop in Spain. The challenge was to transform this great movement into the first entrepreneurial initiative to activate as many companies as possible in deescalation plan and to recover our economy as soon as possible.
_Strategy
To give visibility and acknowledge to the thousands of companies and entrepreneurs who through creativity and effort are reactivating the economy, inspiring through real facts and highlighting the role of companies in the economic recovery.
_Data
The Bank of Spain forecasts that GDP will fall by at least 9% in 2020 and 778,000 jobs will be lost.
In the worst scenario, in 2020 the economy would fall to 15.1% and unemployment would rise to 23.6%
_Idea
We created www.eactivate.com, the meeting point for companies that not only do not stop, but also accelerate to emerge stronger from this crisis. We will only come out from this madness with a greater madness: with the pride of being entrepreneurs.
To launch it and add more companies to the initiative, we have done a campaign in the mass media, with several spots on the main TV and digital media, and we continue with the example strategy created for #EstoNOtienequePARAR, sharing hundreds of real cases of companies that are activated in the main media in the country.
_Results
From May 24th to June 8th.
And, more over, the economy starts rising and reactiviting.
