The Mediterranean Corridor Social Initiative
_Brief
Once more time, the Valencian Business Association asked us to work on the conceptualization, planning, organization and design of the 2020 Business Event promoted by the #QuieroCorredor Movement in favor of the completion of the Mediterranean Corridor.
_Strategy
In the midst of a global pandemic, we decided that it was necessary to demand that the funds that Spain was to receive from the European Union should be used to promote infrastructures such as the Mediterranean Corridor and thus contribute to economic reactivation.

_Data
In 2020, more than 3,300 trade fairs and congresses had to be cancelled or postponed across Europe because of the pandemic. Despite this, the #QuieroCorredor Movement did not have to stop.
_Idea
Under the slogan “Accelerate the Corridor. Activate a whole country”, we highlight the importance of this infrastructure not only for the economic reactivation of the Mediterranean arc, but also for the progress of Spain.
For the fourth consecutive year, we returned to celebrate a great business event and biannual check-up of the works, this time at the Palacio de Congresos in València. With Jesús Calleja as moderator and guide of the #QuieroCorredor Route and Maribel Vilaplana as co-pilot of the event, we traveled through different places and key stations in the claim of the Mediterranean Corridor.
In addition, among our guests were the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos, and great business leaders of our country such as Simón Pedro Barceló (president of Barceló Hotel Group), Agnès Noguera (CEO of Libertas 7) or Iñigo Parra (president of Stadler Rail), to talk about acceleration and economic activation at a crucial time to do so.
As the situation demanded, we prepared a very focused streaming to “engage” the 1300 spectators who were following the event online, broadcasting not only during the event, but also before and after.
