HeroLeague
HeroLeague is the result of our corporate campaign for Euroleague Basketball. It is an animated series in which players such as Mirotic, Tavares, Spanoulis and Shengelia, among others, go from reality to the illustrated world, turning into superheroes to save an increasingly exploited planet Earth, which is lacking in resources. Leading this super team is basketball legend Tony Parker.
Each of the superheroes has been designed by the illustrator Fernando Blanco, who has a long career working for leading publishers in the world of comics such as Marvel and DC. The Wild Pony studio has been in charge of bringing the illustrations to life through 2D and 3D animation.
With this campaign we wanted to make society aware of our current environmental problems, to promote the values of struggle, comradeship and hard work in basketball, and to encourage young fans to live it with the passion it deserves.
It is a series aimed at an international audience and consisting of two 2-minute chapters and more than 40 audio-visual pieces.
